Force marriage which is
common in Pakistan and destroying the lives of young males and females. Force
marriage can happen to anyone from any background and nationality but effects
both males and females. Beside this, Shafilea Ahmed who was 17 years old British
Pakistani girl and her parents took her into Pakistan to do marriage but she
refused and didn't want to get married due to force marriage she drank bleach.
When she returned from Pakistan, she disappeared in 2004 her body was found and
in 2012 her parents were sentenced for 25 years in prison.
According to UNICEF
report, the number of underage marriages recorded in Pakistan is in excess of
1.9 million bout 21% of females are married at the age of underage while 3% are
married at the age of 15. Finally, it is my humbly request to the parents that
should not force their son and daughter to do marriage at the age of underage
and due to force marriage they will do suicide and complete life will be
destroyed.
